Durable and robust infrastructure

We invest only in proven and reliable technological solutions because we want our investments to prove themselves over the years. We build kilometres of new catenary lines and we also modernise older sections to improve their power supply parameters and increase the line capacity. Our priority is the Power System Modernisation Programme (MUZa), for which the company has been responsible since 2011. In 2011-2020, projects worth over PLN 2 billion were implemented under the MUZa. By 2025, we will have allocated PLN 4.4 billion for investments in the infrastructure necessary to power the Polish railways.

The quality of services provided and ensuring power supply reliability is our main objective. One of the key parameters in this area is the SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index), which is an indicator of the average duration of the system long interruption expressed in minutes per customer per year. Maximum reduction of the SAIDI, i.e. shorter power outages, is our ambition. We have reduced the SAIDI by nearly 40% since 2017 by using innovative technology, high-quality equipment, and equipping facilities with remotely controlled devices and smart elements to improve network operation and condition monitoring.

Stakeholders

Our key stakeholders include those with whom we have the most frequent and deepest relationships. These include employees, customers, suppliers and subcontractors, as well as industry organisations and public organisations (i.e. URE and UTK). We maintain regular contact not only with those who influence our business, but also with organisations and institutions that are affected by our actions.

Customer centric operations

Our priority is the satisfaction of our customers. We measure it with the NPS index which shows the level of customer satisfaction based on the willingness to recommend a brand, product or service.

In 2020, we recorded a decline in the NPS, probably caused by difficult business decisions in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we believe that further consistent building of mutual relations in accordance with our mission "We support the development of Polish railways" will also translate into an increase in the NPS in the coming years.
