PGE Energetyka Kolejowa S.A. is one of the largest power companies in Poland. We connect railways with the country's energy system. We take care of the reliability and quality of energy and fuel supplies for rail transportation. As an infrastructure company, we own a distribution network and 20 fuel stations throughout the country. We supply energy to individual equipment and ultimately to trains. We also provide electric power services. Our entire infrastructure is supervised by more than 4,000 of our employees organised in 5 distribution and service areas and 5 service plants throughout the country."
Initiator of innovation and renewable energy sources for railways
For several years, we have been consistently implementing modern technological solutions to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of our operations. The digitalisation that has been carried out allows us, together with the entire industry, to implement the strategic Green Railway® programme, which aims to change the energy mix of the sector to 85% clean energy from RES. We are actively involved in the Center for Energy Efficiency of Railways (CEEK).

PGE Group
PGE is Poland's largest power company, a supplier of electricity and heat to more than 5 million customers, and a leader of change in the Polish energy industry. In its new strategy, the PGE Group outlined a transformation plan and a pathway to decarbonize generation, and announced a goal of climate neutrality by 2050. The PGE Group's investment plan includes, among other things, the construction of the country's largest wind farms in the Baltic Sea. Two PGE offshore farms with a total capacity of 2.5 GW will be built by 2030, and at least 1 GW after 2030. PGE's strategic goal is to have at least 6.5 GW of installed capacity using this technology by 2040. By 2030, PGE Group will also build 3 GW of new photovoltaic capacity, expand its portfolio of onshore wind farms by at least 1 GW, as well as build at least 800 MW of energy storage, increasing the connectivity of renewable energy sources and improving power supply reliability.
