Article 43g. section 1 of the Energy Law Act of 10 April 1997 imposes obligations on electricity system operators and on owners of electricity storage facilities.
Electricity System Operator Responsibilities:
- maintain an electronic register of electricity storage facilities with a total installed capacity greater than 50 kW, connected to the distribution grid, forming part of the grid or being part of a generating unit or installation of an end customer connected to the grid,
- update data in the register of electric energy storage facilities.
Responsibilities of the electricity storage holder:
- notify the power system operator about putting the electric energy storage into operation - within a period of 7 days from the date of putting the storage into operation, notify the power system operator about any change in the data of the electric energy storage facility owner and the electric energy storage facility - within 14 days from the date of changing these data.
