We work with several thousand companies throughout Poland, for some of them we are the leading customer, which means that our impact on the economy goes beyond the boundaries of our direct activities. We have a real impact on the safety, environmental responsibility and quality of services provided by these companies. Cooperation with our business partners is systematised and improved.

Everyone who wants to work with our organization must know and abide by our Code of Ethics, which is based on our four core values of quality, safety, commitment and efficiency. The company has an Anti-Corruption Policy, which regulates the rules for accepting and giving gifts, invitations to conferences and training trips, as well as procedures related to public procurement and purchasing.

We are committed to working with responsible partners who, like us, conduct their business in a sustainable manner. In our Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Contractors, we require suppliers to comply with environmental laws and standards and to take measures to minimise environmental pollution. The Code also includes provisions on employee rights, fair competition and fiscal integrity.

In 2020, we implemented the IVALUA purchasing platform, which simplifies and automates purchases made by PGE Energetyka Kolejowa S.A. As a result, all proceedings are planned and executed in one place, and the process is transparent, secure and efficient. The platform enables electronic acceptance of documents, assessment of suppliers, shortening of the proceedings and accurate measurement of the key components.

We require suppliers to operate in compliance with environmental laws and standards and to take measures to minimise environmental pollution. In 2019, we began the process of implementing clauses in contracts regarding our environmental and social requirements. We continue to implement the process consistently.
