PKP Energetyka with the prestigious EEC Trends Award

On February 25 at the EEC Trends economic conference (European Economy Congress Trends), our company received the prestigious EEC Trends Award. We were among such winners as Michał Kurtyka, Minister of Climate and authors of the "My Electricity" program. The justification reads:

"An award for a private company in the Polish transport market, which - operating in the sensitive and demanding infrastructure sector - has implemented modern ITC systems that determine the safety and stability of work in the railroad sector of the transport market. Thanks to these modern tools, PKP Energetyka is able to respond quickly to breakdowns, has radically reduced the number of breakdowns, is carrier-friendly and pursues a responsible policy towards the environment. PKP Energetyka - thanks to the involvement of a financial investor (CVC Capital Partners) - has undergone an ambitious transformation as a company, but it is also an important, active participant in the transformation of the entire Polish electric power sector."

Receiving the award, President Wojciech Orzech thanked first of all the employees, who with full commitment, every day, step by step, changed the company and worked to increase the quality of service and efficiency, while taking care of safety. Thanks to the joint effort, the number of breakdowns on the overhead line has decreased almost 20 times, which translates into about 200,000 minutes saved for passengers.
