The Sustainable Development Strategy complements our development goals for the coming years set out in Strategy 2030. When developing the strategy, we conducted in-depth analyses of our organisation and industry, and held discussions with our stakeholders. As a result, we have identified the 19 most important priorities for our company.
Our company's ESG strategy is in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, namely:
We are a member of the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest initiative bringing together businesses working for sustainable development in human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption.
We are a Partner of the Responsible Business Forum, sharing good practices in the area of corporate social responsibility with other companies in Poland.
In 2022, we received the EcoVadis Gold Medal for our approach to sustainable development. Awarded by an international agency that evaluates companies in areas such as environment (including water and energy use, pollution production, biodiversity), social action (employee training, health and safety, dialogue, diversity), ethics (anti-corruption practices, responsible information management, cyber security) and supply chain (oversight of suppliers' social and environmental issues).
In 2021, in the first edition of the ESG Leaders competition organised by the Warsaw Stock Exchange together with NN Investment Partners TFI and PwC, we received an award for our Strategy 2030, which includes quantitative targets and deadlines for its implementation, and an award in the "Innovation" category for the largest energy storage for traction needs in Europe.
